Role Overview:
As a Year 2 Teacher at our school, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a high standard of education, nurturing the development of our young learners, and creating a positive, inclusive classroom environment. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons, assessing student progress, and providing support to ensure every child reaches their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, deliver, and evaluate high-quality lessons tailored to Year 2 students
- Assess and monitor the progress of all students, providing constructive feedback
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community
- Foster a love of learning, creativity, and critical thinking in your pupils
- Uphold high standards of behaviour, ensuring a safe and respectful learning atmosphere
We are looking for:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- A passion for working with young children and helping them succeed
- Strong classroom management skills
- A creative, dynamic approach to teaching
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in teaching Year 2 is desirable but not essential
